Aude Thoughts Lab
Aude Thoughts Lab is a training practice that helps professionals build confidence in learning, not just accumulate more skills, and transfer that knowledge into how they work, collaborate, and lead. Originally coined by the Roman poet Horace in 20 BC, the phrase Saper Aude was popularised by the 18th-century philosopher Immanuel Kant as the official motto of the Enlightenment, which called for breaking free from self-imposed immaturity and cultivating intellectual autonomy.
In that same spirit, the goal of Aude (OW-deh) Thoughts Lab capability development is not to hand down knowledge and skills, but to foster the ‘dare to learn’, where one does not absorb knowledge passively but acquires it by drawing on diverse wisdom and theories.
Aude Thoughts Lab Foundational Principles
Our capability development programme is founded on 4 critical principles of learning.
-
Training that integrates multiple fields fosters all-round thinking.
-
Effective learning is anchored in a healthy mindset habits.
-
Individual's capability development and collective growth are interdependent.
-
Integrating and contextualising competencies enhance agility and resilience.
Highly Trained Yet Low Efficacy
Competence Gaps at Work
Since the 1990s, expectations of employees' problem-solving, digital literacy, and cross-functional communication have risen structurally. Yet workplace surveys reveal sharp execution gaps, low agility, poor collaboration, and weak critical thinking and problem solving. These competence gaps span all industries and remain a key cause of low-efficacy workplaces. Aude Thoughts Lab's integrated capability development program closes these gaps by building the capabilities individuals and teams need to sustain a lifelong, self-directed learning journey.
Why Training Doesn't Deliver
Common Pitfalls of Training
Disconnected from Reality
Many training programs are delivered without considering actual workplace realities: both the organisation's and employees' capacity, readiness, and receptiveness.
Cognitive Oversight
Most training programs focus only on enhancing employees' technical skills while overlooking mindset and cognitive training.
Short-Term Knowledge
Standardised training modules address short-term knowledge gaps but do not foster self-learning capacity.
Oblivion to culture.
Training content is developed with little regard for the organisation's challenges and culture.
AUDE360
Stackable Competencies
Aude Thoughts Lab's capability development program, AUDE360, helps individuals leave each course with a stackable competency to start their lifelong learning journey.
In the discovery phase, learners identify their strengths and shadows to build an effective learning path. The second phase consists of modules that build foundational capabilities and unlock multiple potentials. In the final phase, individuals will apply their foundational capabilities to higher-order abilities.
AUDE360 Distinctive Framework
Traditional training leaves organisations with low skills transfer, cultural friction, and unapplied knowledge. AUDE360 resolves this with an integrated training programme that confers lasting operational resilience.
-
Individuals will acquire capstone abilities to drive their own development through cycles of learning, unlearning, and relearning.
-
Training helps managers and team members co-create supportive work environments to apply their learned competencies.
-
Technical skill-building is paired with mindshift training, giving learners the cognitive tools to actively manage their mindsets for growth.
-
The curriculum is a cohesive ecosystem; each reinforces the others, allowing learners to stack skills for maximum impact.
